CoinCharts
A minimalist candlestick viewer covering major and long-tail tokens; clean UI and fast loads make it ideal for quick trend scans.
About this site
CoinCharts occupies the "light, beginner-friendly" corner of crypto charting. Compared with TradingView's full scripting ecosystem or Cryptowatch's order-book depth, CoinCharts trims the surface down to a clean, fast-loading, learner-friendly OHLC page.
The product centers on "look at the chart quickly." Real-time and historical OHLC charts for major and mid-cap coins across multiple intervals. A lightweight set of built-in indicators (MA, EMA, RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands and similar fundamentals). Multi-exchange price switching that lets the same instrument be compared across venues. Pair pages covering an asset against fiat and stablecoins. Simple watchlists and price alerts.
Three use cases stand out. Newcomers learning to read OHLC bars want a clean, non-distracting page. Multi-monitor setups dedicate one pane to a single coin's live chart. Mobile users on weak networks benefit from a page that opens immediately.
The differentiator is subtraction — no scripting, no community feed, no heavy ancillary features. The cost is that advanced needs (custom indicators, full-depth order books, multi-account management) require moving to a different site.
Limitations and caveats: chart data depends on third-party exchange feeds and minor cross-source time skew can appear; technical indicators are statistical post-processing of historical prices and can produce misleading signals in low-liquidity or extreme conditions; drawings, indicators, and alerts on the site are research aids and do not constitute investment advice. Crypto-asset prices are highly volatile and participants should evaluate their own risk tolerance.
