Privacy policy (summary)
Last updated: May 2026. Content may change while BeanCloud is in beta.
We take privacy seriously. For accounts: when you register or sign in we process your email, password hashes, sessions, and operational logs (such as IP and User-Agent) for authentication, security, and abuse prevention.
Navigation and favourites: we store the data needed to provide bookmarks, submissions, and related features on the server. Public catalogue data may be exposed through APIs and the web UI.
Email: verification and password-reset flows may send transactional email when SMTP is configured. In development, links may be logged instead of sent.
Cookies and storage: the client may use cookies (for example language preference) and browser storage (for example auth tokens). You can clear them in your browser settings.
This is not a full legal document; a definitive version will be published before general availability.
